Biography
Aria Tian is the China Head of Research Unit, based in Beijing.
Aria leads a team conducting a variety of legal, commercial, and industry research centered around intellectual property. Aria provides customized reports for clients including relevant government and institutional bodies. As Research Team Head, Aria also organizes major research projects and external cooperation initiatives, and is responsible for the development of digital products such as the CIELA database, the STAR Market company sci-tech attribute diagnostic tool, and the patent value assessment system at Rouse.
With nearly 20 years’ experience in law and IP, she specializes in emerging areas of IP intensive technologies. Aria also researches business innovation models and application scenarios, in order to offer clients comprehensive consulting solutions centered on IP law.
Her current research concerns the fields of artificial intelligence, intellectual property finance, and entertainment law. Before her role at Rouse, Aria worked for top French, US, and Chinese law firms in addition to being in-house counsel at a major airline.
