Julia is Chair of the Rouse Group having been appointed in December 2025. She initially joined the business as an independent Non-Executive Director earlier in 2025. An experienced INED with a track record of accelerating strategic growth and long-term value creation with international professional and financial services firms. Julia brings a rare blend of strategic market insight, commercial pragmatism, and deep understanding of expert-led, entrepreneurial businesses.

Her board career is underpinned by an executive background in global professional services partnerships and private businesses. She was formerly Chief Strategy Officer at Baker McKenzie, one of the world’s largest law firms, and an equity partner at a specialist strategy consultancy (sold to Thomson Reuters). Julia also sits on the boards of Lockton Companies LLP, Knight Frank, and the Global Advisory Counsel for The Corporate Governance Institute. She began her career as a qualified lawyer and has since become known for her strategic clarity, client-centric mindset, and collaborative approach.
