Diana is a Trade Marks & Brands Manager at Baranda & Associates, a member of the Rouse Network.
A practicing lawyer in the Philippines since 2014, Diana is a key member of the firm’s Trademarks and Brands Team. She consistently provides clients with sound and practical advice, successfully overcomes complex registrability objections, wins challenging opposition and cancellation cases, and negotiates favorable outcomes with other parties.
Throughout her career, Diana has handled complex legal matters for multinational clients across a broad range of industries, including technology, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, consumer products, and fashion.
Her expertise includes strategic trademark prosecution, advising on legal risks and enforcement strategies, representing clients in opposition and cancellation proceedings, and guiding them through negotiations to achieve efficient and effective resolutions.
With the recent promulgation of rules on Geographical Indications and Well-Known Marks in the Philippines, Diana also plays a key role in advising clients and securing registrations under these new frameworks.
